Meet Sarah, Artisan Weaver at Godrevy Textiles
Hello, I'm Sarah, the Artisan Weaver behind Godrevy Textiles. Nestled in my cottage on the wild and inspiring Lizard Peninsula, I weave unique cloth by hand on a traditional floor loom, using quality natural fibres to create the Godrevy Textiles range of handwoven heirlooms. My honest, beautiful fabrics are designed to bring warmth and authenticity into your life, through gorgeous homewares and textile accessories. Perfect whether you’re hosting a special occasion, looking for the most thoughtful gift or simply value the joy of using the highest quality handmade fabrics every day and for years to come.
My work is inspired by Cornwall’s changing landscape, the colours and textures of the shoreline and countryside as we journey through the seasons. I create using the tones of nature, from soft weathered blues and chalky whites to fresh greens and gentle warm tones. I weave both intuitively and to design ranging from simple stripes and understated patterns to more intricate details and considered motifs. Colours and patterns that calm and uplift bringing a rustic and timeless elegance to both modern and traditional homes or a classic look with an individual edge to your personal style.
The Process

Our Natural Materials
All of our products are made using the finest quality fibres, like organic cotton and linen, that are personally sourced from our trusted suppliers. They are chosen for their colour tones and natural properties to create beautiful, tactile and hardwearing pieces.

Time Honoured
Each piece begins as a length of handwoven cloth, made slowly and thoughtfully on Sarah’s traditional mechanical floor loom from winding the warp to filling the bobbins through to weaving. Every pass of the shuttle is guided by rhythm, patience, and years of quiet dedication.

By Hand
Once woven, Sarah cuts and finishes every item herself, hemming, pressing, and sewing with the same care that goes into the weaving. This hands-on process ensures that every textile feels considered and complete, ready to leave the workshop and become a part of your own story.
We’re sure your handwoven heirloom will bring you joy for years to come, however, if you want to return your item for a full refund, or exchange it for another item, here’s what you need to know.
Any refund or exchange must be notified within 14 days of delivery to sarah@godrevytextiles.co.uk. Please include your full order name and number and details of the return or exchange.
All items must be returned in the same, unworn, unused condition in their original packaging. The customer is liable for all postage costs except in the circumstances of a faulty item.
Please note that as handwoven items irregularities are part of their inherent charm and do not constitute faults. All composition, sizing and care information can be found on the individual product pages.
